Online Blackjack Casino Rules:

  • Multi-hand Blackjack is played with five standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
  • Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21.
  • All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens, have a value of 10.
  • Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11.
  • You may draw up to five additional cards to make a hand of seven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed 21. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving seven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays his hand.
  • The Dealer Stands on all 17.
  • The Dealer’s hand is dealt in strict accordance to the rules of the Casino.

The following betting and payout rules apply:

  • If the Dealer’s hand exceeds 21, it is Bust, and you automatically win.
  • If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Your hand automatically stands. Your hand cannot be beaten, only matched.
  • If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3:2.
  • If both Dealer’s hand and your hand tie, it is called a Push. Your original bet amount is returned to you.
  • If both the Dealer’s hand and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push. You are paid out your original bet amount.
  • If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts, are lost.

The following splitting rules apply:

  • You can Split two cards that have the same Denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand.
  • If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a denomination of 10, this is not Blackjack, although it has a value of 21.
  • Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Multi-hand Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
  • You can Split once per hand. This equals two hands.

The following double down rules apply:

  • You can Double Down when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. You are dealt one card and your hand automatically Stands.
  • The double down bet is equal to your original bet.
  • You cannot double down after a split.
  • You can only double down once per hand.

The following insurance rules apply:

  • You can take Insurance if the Dealer’s first card is an Ace.
  • The Insurance bet is equal to half your original bet amount.
  • Insurance bet wins or loses are independent of your original bet.
  • Insurance only covers your original hand. It does not cover any second hands on a Split, or a Double Down bet.
  • Insurance is only taken on your original hand. You cannot take Insurance after a Hit or a Double Down bet. This means you can only take Insurance when the Dealer has one card face-up and you have two cards dealt.
  • If the Dealer does not have a Blackjack, the Insurance bet is removed from the table. The cost of the Insurance bet is deducted from your credit balance. The game continues.
  • If the Dealer has Blackjack, the Insurance bet is paid out at odds of 2:1.
